About the Studio
W/M Animation was formed in 1999 by partners David Wachtenheim and Robert Marianetti. The duo has worked separately as prominent creative forces with various animation studios in New York and Los Angeles during the last twenty years and have combined their talents into an award winning, highly acclaimed, full service animation studio of their very own known (oddly enough) as: Wachtenheim/Marianetti Inc.

The studio has been Producing and Directing award-winning animation for a growing list of satisfied clientele that includes: NBC, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, Sesame Workshop, Fox, The WB, Coca-Cola, LG, GE, KingWorld, Warner Brothers Records, ESPN, Wheel of Fortune, Acme Filmworks, Curious Pictures, Potion Design, Playboy Magazine, Random House, New York Magazine, and more...

Shortly after itís inception, W/M Animation became the premiere animation studio for Saturday Night Liveís TV Funhouse, created by Robert Smigel, and have continued a long and creative relationship with Mr. Smigel beyond SNL. They served as Animation Creative Directors and Animation Producers for Mr. Smigelís TV Funhouse series airing on Comedy Central; created an 80 page graphic novel of the "X-Presidents" written by Mr. Smigel and Adam McKay; and recently designed and Directed a CGI pilot written by Smigel and Greg Cohen (King of the Hill) for 20th Century Fox.

W/M Animation's most recent work included producing seven episodes of Big Baby, about a six-foot infant who innocently always manages to save the day, for Cartoon Network which had it's own all day marathon on the network.

They are currently developing their own original ideas and working on other exciting projects that will be revealed shortly. Come back and find out!
